Demographic Winter and the Kenya conflict
This is a new documentary that is soon to come out...my Mom worked with most of the people in the film and said they are all amazing! It's a very moving clip about population decrease...hence the name. You should check it out!

There is also a moving article (also from Mom!) on the Kenya conflict. She works closely with many people in Kenya, and one in particular is mentioned in this article....what he's dealt with, how he's survived, and how others are doing. It's an interesting perspective of a man of my faith living through this horrendous ordeal.

Our apartment
I have a lot of new pictures to post, but my camera battery just died, and I lost the charger in the MOVE! So sad. So for now, quick pictures from Erik's camera will have to do!!! Here are some pictures of our place....
This is our cute new dining room....it was so fun to get the clock and to get the table and chairs in the mail!!! Hooray for Target :)
This is our second furniture purchase...another Target purchase...they were having a great sale! This is our new and much needed nightstand. Fun, huh?
This is our kitchen. Our stove is horrendous and the fridge is small, but it's starting to feel a little more like home. Erik just concocted this cool rack for me yesterday to hang out new pots and pans...so fun!
This is our dining room....with a couple random things in the corner yet to find a home!
Our bathroom. By far the easiest room to decorate :)
My first centerpiece attempt...
This is our new bed set...well, the sheets and pillows. The duvet is in the mail. I love it!!!
Setting up house is so much fun, but man it takes TIME!!! I try and squeeze it in on the weekends, but its been stretching over many weekends now. I'm looking for cheap, creative ways to decorate walls...we have so much wall space because of high ceilings, and I am at a loss. Any ideas out there??
