So tonight I officially became a "jack-of-all-trades"....I CUT MY HUSBANDS HAIR!!!!!!!!! This was an awfully daunting task to undertake for me, so I'm terribly proud that I came out alive! Here are the shots:
BEFORE (I know, it had been way too long since his last cut!):

After:

I am not saying it's perfect, but wow....I did it!! I'm so proud of myself!! Now maybe I can experiment a bit more next time! :)
Here I am cleaning the massive mess of hair...

haha! this cracks me up because i have to cut marks hair. not like its a big deal now a days,,,, i shave the mans head!!!:) but i remember long ago when he had it longer and i had to cut it and i hated it! i would get so nervous and he refused to go to have someone do it! anyway, good job!!! you are way better than i ever was! awesome job! hey, did you get the wedding dvds i gave your mom? i meant to call her and tell her i left them on the door. totally slipped my mind! well i miss you and love ya!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to see a difference between the two in the pictures (I'm sure you could tell in person!), but all that hair on the ground tells me you had your work "cut" out for you!
ReplyDeleteONE WEEK! ONE WEEK!!
Great job Britney! You are such a great wife cleaning up the hair after you cut it. I make Alex clean up his hair after I cut it as his "payment".
ReplyDeleteYou're so talented! I cut Dustin's hair but it's pretty simple :)
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Britney. If you factor in ten haircuts a year over the next ten years, you'll have enough for the Africa trip you've always wanted. Of course, if you want to take Erik, it might take twenty years. Keep cutting!!!

Britney! You look like you are doing so great! This post made me laugh because Branden let me cut his hair shortly after we were married. I used craft scissors and it did not go so well. The worst part was the back, but he didn't even check so he didn't know how awful it was until people started to ask "what happened to your hair?" Needless to say that is the ONLY time I have ever been allowed to cut my hair. Congrats on succeeding where I have failed.
