Holy moly, I am coming up on the last trimester! CRAZY! I haven't even thought about strollers or carseats or anything...I just have clothes :) If you have any suggestions or thoughts, please share. Also, I'm interested to know if anyone has attempted cloth diapers....
Here are the goods:

Can you tell a difference??
My sister does cloth diapers and really likes it. It isn't like it used to be. I have tried it and liked it but it is a lot of work, very time cosuming so I went back to disposable. I would say it is worth trying. You may like it. And then you will have what you need if you ever " need" to use them. Just google cloth diapers.
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Jealous about that by the way, but you do look wonderful! I like disposable diapers. Never tried cloth, but for some reason that grosses me out. But, if you do it, good for you! I do feel bad for throwing away diapers... as for a stroller, get something with lots of storage space. For a carseat, don't worry about getting a unisex color because you can always cover it.
ReplyDeleteBrittney Bowman does cloth diapers I think... you should ask her about it cause I think she swears by a certain kind!
ReplyDeleteYou look great...and little! Good grief, people say I'm little, but I can hardy bend anymore.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had good ideas about strollers/car seats. On the one hand, I often wish I had shopped around more, but on the other, when I have is perfectly functional and cute. It's probably not as big a deal as some people make it, but there are definitely a lot of different styles and makes out there, so it's worth maybe a trip to Babies R Us to "test drive" various brands and models. Good luck!
You look great! I love being pregnant, I love having a belly. Hope everything is going well with you, and your little sweet pea.
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome at 25.5 weeks! So cute and small! Hope I don't get real big either! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute pregnant! I cant wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteYou look great Britney! My favorite purchase I think was our baby carrier, the Ergo. You can't use it until about 3 months, when the baby has better head control, but it is a lifesaver on your back. All the support rests on your hips. The baby can be on your front, back, or hip, but has to be facing in. Lots of people asked if he hated facing in, but he never new the difference. We used it last summer for 3-4 hour hikes, and he was great. Alex loved it and would opt to carry him in it over pushing the stroller. I used it to run down to the laundry room with him, grocery shop, and to just go for a walk. So, as you can see, we loved it! Good luck, it is so fun buying for a baby!
ReplyDeleteI've done cloth diapers for 2 years now and it's pretty easy, and you don't have to do it full time. We used disposables at night and when we go out to make it a lot easier. It still save a lot of money and a lot of trash and my sensitive skinned boys don't get rashes anymore :) I use the kushies all in ones (online at walmart) because I've tried the uber-expensive bumgenius' and don't think they work any better than the $5 a pop ones. If you want to talk diapers my email's brittneyflorence@hotmail.com :)
ReplyDeleteAs far as baby gear goes there's only one item I really WISH I bought with my first. If you guys are planning on having more than one child and having them less than 4 years apart I would look into getting a phil and ted's stroller. They're a little pricey upfront (you can get them for a lot less on ebay), but I'll never have to buy a double stroller, jogger, single stroller, or double jogger because it does it all...it's my favorite baby item because I think it's just such a awesomely engineered stroller. Guys tend to love it for that reason ;)
Sorry for the novel...I guess I'm more passionate about diapers and strollers than I thought...HA!
